What We Do

We have biographers whom you will commission to write your biography.  We have developed a process for doing this that allows us to produce a professional, high-quality biography at a dramatically reduced price, while at the same time allowing for the customization and uniqueness of each book.

What you do with the completed biography is up to you. You may choose to give copies of it to your friends and family, or attempt to have it published by a commercial publishing house.

The completed biography belongs to the subject and the subject retains the copyrights for the final book. 

We provide the structure and expertise, as well as the writing talent, to produce the work.  The subject provides the stories and anecdotes to make the book interesting.

We produce narrative biographies, which means that our sole source for the content is the subject.  We do not do any fact-checking, research, or genealogy.  If the subject has genealogy records, we can include those as graphic images.

The focus (and purpose) of a narrative biography is to document the person’s life (not the lives of their family).  The background of the individual’s family is included in reference and anecdotes, it is not the focus of the work.

Every life is interesting.  Everyone has interesting life stories that we want to help preserve.  Each book is written in biographical format, not autobiographical format.  This means that the subject will be described in third-person, such as: “Mary Jones was married on…” instead of: “I was married on.”

The topics and chapters of the book are discussed and determined after the biographer has reviewed the background questionnaire.
